Description

Aston Martin revealed the DBS at the 2007 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.  As the successor to the Vanquish S, there was no denying that the DBS scored high in the looks department.  The DBS was Aston Martin’s flagship model at the time, and was sought after by the most discerning Aston Martin clientele.  From a driving standpoint, the DBS was intended to drive similarly to the way it looked; a canyon carver when it wanted to be, or a highway blaster if needed.  The DBS finally offered a pleasant balance between sport and comfort, and truly represented an aggressive interpretation of Aston Martin’s road car philosophy; “the gentleman’s grand tourer.”

Paired to a large V12 whose power is passed through a slick, six speed manual transmission, the car’s mechanical characteristics help the vehicle further hone in on its dual identities.  The motor’s torque allows the driver to ease onto the throttle while in taller gears, but its power can be easily tapped into once the gears are rowed. The sound from the dual overhead cam 12 cylinder is intoxicating but not obnoxious.

This particular vehicle is finished in Meteorite Silver over obsidian black leather and alcantara with light silver stitching.  The car was also spec’d with stunning matte carbon fiber on the door trims, optional piano black fascia trim, roof liner finished in black alcantara, and personalized sill plaques.

What makes this DBS particularly desirable is its 2+0 configuration.  Most DBS’s were optioned with rear seats, technically making it a 2+2, but even with the rear seats the car is still is a genuine two seater.  The deletion of the rear seats alleviates more space for luggage and gives the interior a much cleaner appearance.

The Cultivated Collector is proud to offer this low mileage, superb condition DBS.  With a clean carfax report and frequent servicing at Aston Martin certified service centers, the vehicle is sold service current with full paper work and is ready to go on its next adventure.
