The Aston Martin name always seems to be associated with the swankiest, most mature, sports cars and grand tourers. Aston’s true claim to fame in its road car line up was always the big, front-engined, V12, bruisers, which could waft you from London to Monaco in utter comfort, speed, and style. When Aston introduced the new Vanquish in 2001 to replace the dying Virage line up, they set the benchmark once again. Penned by the renowned car designer, Ian Callum, the Vanquish body set the styling cues for many generations of Astons to come. The car was so handsome, it became James Bond’s “Q Car” in the 2002 film, Die Another Day.
This particular Vanquish is an S model, denoted by its larger front splitter, increased engine output, larger brakes, stiffer suspension, and sportier tuned steering in comparison to the standard Vanquish. Produced in ‘06, this Vanquish S was manufactured in the middle of Vanquish S production dates (‘04-’07). Finished in the very regal Mendip blue over cream leather, the color combination only further emulates what the purpose of the vehicle is. This vehicle is a top example with no mechanical issues, cosmetic defects, or interior wear – the car is showroom new. The vehicle is also sold service current with all records, paperwork and a clean Carfax.
Don’t miss your chance to drive one of Bond’s first, 21st century, movie car in a very desirable and rare color combo.
