1965 Shelby Cobra CSX4000
This Shelby Cobra is a CSX4000-series continuation model that was delivered new as a rolling chassis in December 2002 and was assembled by Kris Kinkaid of Shelby American. The car features brushed aluminum bodywork over black leather upholstery, and power comes from a 427ci side-oiler V8 paired with a Tremec TKO II five-speed manual transmission. Additional equipment includes a chrome roll hoop, a Moto-Lita steering wheel, MSD ignition, a 42-gallon aluminum fuel tank with a fuel cell, 15” Halibrand-style wheels, side exhaust pipes, and Girling four-wheel disc brakes.
